Natural Disasters in El Salvador

Central America is located on the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire is on the Pacific Ocean, where volcanic eruptions and earthquakes happen a lot. Central America is HIGHLY affected by these earthquakes, and it has caused so many people to go into poverty. So far almost 4 earthquakes have happened in the last 24 hours! ( May 17) After researching, we found out that El Salvador has had the worst earthquake this year, also the worst this week and month! Earthquakes are scaled from a 1-10 on their magnitude. 10 being the worst. El Salvador’s earthquakes usually range into the sevens.
